Well, I'm not quite sure how to start this... but, I will give it my best shot...On Tuesday the 29th, 1999, in the afternoon, about 5 o'clock pm, I was in my back yard sitting at my table, staring into the sky, mostly because I happened to see a jet airliner flying over. It struck me funny that the jet was flying right over my head at about 5000 feet, and I couldn't even hear a sound from it. The air was really calm, and there were no other noises in the area to drown it out... not to change the subject or any thing........ but something else caught my eye.
An object way overhead had caught my attention. It was way up there, and would shine in the afternoon sun… I thought it might be another airplane, but it stopped moving. It then proceeded toward the south very slow, and stopped again, this peaked my curiosity, I ran into the house to get my binoculars and when I got back, it was gone. I started looking in the direction of the last sighting and with a little time I had it in view again, it was the shape of a coffee can, and it seemed to be rotating, but it was definitely changing colors, from blue to silver, I watched it stop two more times for about 1 to 2 minutes at a time…then it moved off to the south.
I've stood out there every night this week trying to see it again... no luck!!!
